Sneakers are gifted

The Bungalow5 x Stig Percy sneaker

Being a mom and biking everyday, having comfortable footwear is key. I have several sneakers in my wardrobe, some sporty and some more dressy. Stig Percy just launched a pair of unique limited edition sneakers in collaboration with my dear friend Allan – The Bungalow5 x Stig Percy sneaker. The sneaker is made out of premium Italian full grain vegetable tanned leather and recyclable rubber soles. A pair of sneakers designed to live your life in.

Allan’s vision when co-designing the sneakers was to create something that felt dressed yet casual in premium whole-grain leather, rooted in the Scandinavian minimalist design culture. An important part of the process was to understand people’s needs and how they live their lives around the world. It became crucial for Allan and to us at Stig Percy when creating a shoe people could live their lives in.

I took the sneakers for their fist spin at one of my favorite museums in Copenhagen – Kunsthal Charlottenborg and dived into the Beach Chair by Snarkitecture.
