My visit to the B&O HQ
In the beginning of the summer, I was so lucky to get invited to the B&O HQ in Denmark. Something I have dreamt of for a long time. It is the original old factories that now works as an office, showroom, sound studio and their own steel factory. I grew up with the iconic MX B&O television that could rotate. I think one of the sentences that I have heard my Dad say the most, was: “Don’t run in front of the television!”. We saved for a long time and invested in quality and my parents still have most of it. It is just the television that they have changed.
That mindset about design and consumption, is something I can really relate to. But the design needs to be timeless and that has always been one of B&O’s strengths.
